True Men is an award-winning all-male a cappella group at Truman State University. Established in 1997, True Men is well-known both on campus and in the community. The group holds concerts at Truman, is a frequent performer in the surrounding area, and is often requested for engagements all around the Midwest. The True Men compete biannually at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), and release albums on their years off. With only a few exceptions, each song that the True Men perform has been arranged by a current or former member of the group.

 

The mission of True Men is to provide entertaining and enjoyable a cappella performances, in addition to maintaining a fraternal spirit centered around the art of making music.
